Certificates of Education

There is no such thing as a “certified piercer” and there are absolutely NO laws in Clinton County governing body piercing other than the age of consent. As well, there are no regular inspections of studios by any public health office of piercing or tattooing businesses.

All of the memberships, education certificates, and BBP certifications are strictly voluntary. For Meghan, she believes education is mandatory to ensure the health and safety of our clients and our staff.

Being a member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) is of significant importance for professionals in the piercing industry. The APP is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting safety, education, and excellence in the body piercing community. Here are some key reasons why being an APP member is crucial:
